Patriotism In Presidential Politics

Today's Washington Post had yet another article about Obama's patriotism being questioned. What on Earth is going on? (After Bush was elected TWICE, I realized that Karl Marx was right about one thing: the majority of the people are too stupid to govern themselves. Even an idiot is right once in his lifetime...) Maybe all those imbeciles questioning Obama's patriotism should see a doctor quickly, as they are suffering from RCI (recto-cranial inversion). John McCain is beyond doubt a patriotic individual, but to think he is more patriotic than Obama is beyond assinine. What I question more than someone's patriotism is whether or not they are too trigger-happy, as was Bush Jr., and might take us into wars that are not only unnecessary (Bush Jr again) but also jeopardizes this country's future... and McCain seems too trigger happy for my health.

If there is one thing that Bush Jr. should have taught this country is that what counts MOST is one's judgement. Who is least likely to exhibit the poor judgement of Bush Jr. (choosing Cheney and Rumsfeld, going into Iraq when Osama bin Laden still roams free, pissing on our allies and enemies alike, ignoring our economy and making it more profitable for our companies to send jobs overseas, and the list goes on seemingly endlessly...)

I don't care which political party our president hails from, each and every single one of them, without exception, and all those who have run for the office and failed to win it, again without exception, have been patriotic individuals with the best interests of this country at heart. All that is beyond whether you agree with them or not. But to challenge someone's patriotism in an election in this country proves stupidity beyond belief.

R U N Idiot?
